In line with Government guidelines, the following areas and attractions will be open for you to enjoy, from Monday 12th April 2021:
- Our BRAND NEW activity trail - Zog and the Quest for the Golden Star
- 64-acres of beautiful grounds and gardens, including Pageant Field and the Peacock Garden
- Our central Courtyard and The Conqueror’s Fortress
- The Horrible Histories Maze
- The River Island - featuring our magnificent Trebuchet
- Roaming castle characters - featuring our fascinating birds of prey
- Selected food and drink outlets - providing a takeaway service (including from the Conservatory Tea House and the Courtyard Refreshments stall)
- Toilets & Baby Changing facilities
- Selected Gift Shops
Unfortunately, we’re unable to reopen some of our indoor or enclosed areas from the 12th April and therefore the following areas will be unavailable temporarily and until further government guidance is released:
- Our indoor dining areas (such as The Undercroft Café) will remain closed. Alternative takeaway options will be available elsewhere for hot & cold refreshments
- Indoor attractions including The Castle Dungeon, The Kingmaker & The Royal Weekend Party
- Our castle rooms, including the Great Hall & Staterooms
- Access to our Towers and Ramparts
- If you’re staying overnight with us, a takeaway food service will replace our seated dining option - as the Knight’s Village Restaurant remains closed
